If you are not landing directly at Sarajevo Airport in the morning, but you are already in some accommodation in Sarajevo, our guide/driver will meet you at 07:00 at the Main Bus Station in Sarajevo, at the main entrance on the corner of the building, (Put života street, Sarajevo 71000), and will take you to Bosnia and Mostar. Mostar is one of the oldest and most popular settlements on the Bosnia-Herzegovina, well known for its Old Bridge (Stari Most), historic old town, diverse nightlife, and amazing examples of Ottoman architecture.
A charming old urban settlement with small narrow streets, lovely cafes, and comfortable restaurants, with a fantastic view of Stari Most, the Neretva River and the surrounding mountains. Along the way, we will make a few short stops to take photos, rest and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
We start our journey early in the morning from Mostar. Along the way, we will make a few short stops to rest and take photos before getting to our destination Tjentište. From there, we will travel with all-terrain vehicles towards the top of Maglić and Prijevor (1668 m). Halfway to Prijevor, at 1,280 meters above sea level, we will visit a landscaped viewpoint (about 400 m from the road through the forest), which offers an excellent view of the Skakavac waterfall. We continue our drive towards Prijevor, the starting point for our trekking.
Only by trekking, you can reach this incredible heart-shaped lake, that symbolizes love. Trnovačko Lake is located in the far northwest of Montenegro, near the border with BiH. Besides the Black Lake on Durmitor, this is one of the most beautiful lakes in Montenegro. The lake is surrounded by high mountains from the east, south and west, the most famous of them are Maglić and Volujak. After this exciting trek ride continue to Montenegro and our campsite for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, enjoy through the famous Tara Canyon in Montenegro, the deepest canyon in Europe, and the second deepest in the world (after the Grand Canyon in the USA). The canyon is in the UNESCO register of the world’s natural heritage. Walk along the river bank this attractive part of the canyon river Tara around Šćepan Polje, or choose one of the optional on-site activities such as hiking, fishing, sightseeing, etc. On this tour, you will see beautiful landscapes and experience exciting water rapids.
After an amazing time in the canyon and tasty lunch, we will drive to Plužine. Along the way, we make a few short stops to rest and enjoy the spectacular scenery at the largest drinking water reservoir in Europe, Piva lake and the 220-meter high hydropower.
If there’s something you’d love to do in Plužine, today is the day for it. Wander through the town, take a zipline across Lake Piva or take a leisurely walk around the scenic lake. And as the night approaches, just sit down at one of the town's restaurants for a delicious dinner!
Soak in the relaxing lakeside atmosphere before catching an afternoon bus to Podgorica. You may wish to hang around in Montenegro a little longer or explore the Balkans further after these few adventurous days with us.
