Montenegro & Croatia Sailing

Day 1 - Dubrovnik/Cavtat

Arrive in time for a 4pm welcome meeting and safety briefing. Spend the night in Croatian waters. Please try to arrive at the meeting point before 4pm for an important group meeting where you can meet the Chief Experience Officer (CEO), skipper, and the other group members. On our Montenegro sailing trip the G Adventures Skipper/CEO will help you make a food kitty, where 500 HRK (Croatian Kuna) per person, per week will be added to the kitty for small food items on board to cover breakfasts, lunches and the odd dinner. Breakfasts and lunches are prepared by yourself, and most dinners are taken ashore at local restaurants.

Day 2 - Cavtat/Herceg Novi

Spend a full day sailing south to Herceg Novi, Montenegro. The best beaches in this scenic area are only accessible by boat.

Day 3 - Herceg Novi/Budva

Sail to the Budva Riviera. Explore some of the most beautiful beaches in the area, nestled beneath the cliffs of Spas Hill. Well-known as the regional capital of nightlife, there no shortage of clubs along the seaside promenade. Soak up the sun on the many picturesque rocky and sandy beaches of Budva, or explore the Old Town filled with history and monuments. In the evening take your pick of the many bars and restaurants along the Riviera and enjoy a drink watching the sunset over the crystal blue waters.

Day 4 - Budva/Bigovo

Enjoy a day for snorkelling and swimming in the crystal-clear waters near the village of Bigovo. Enjoy the feel of this ancient fishing village.

Day 5 - Bigovo/Kotor

Continue sailing to the ancient Mediterranean port of Kotor. Part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, enjoy the limestone cliffs overhanging this submerged river canyon.

Day 6 - Kotor/Tivat

Enjoy the town of Tivat. Opt to visit the city, the botanical gardens or a number of monuments. or just continue relaxing on its gorgeous sandy beaches.

Day 7 - Tivat/Dubrovnik

Sail back to Dubrovnik and stop by the dramatic city walls for a photo op.

Day 8 - Dubrovnik/Adriatic Sea

Free morning to explore Dubrovnik. Enjoy a nightcap with new crew mates on the boat and get to know fellow passengers. Spend the morning exploring Dubrovnik and meet back at 4pm for an important group meeting with your new Chief Experience Officer (CEO), skipper, and the other group members. The boat will be departing soon after the arrival meeting.

Day 9 - Adriatic Sea

While traveling the Dalmatian coast by sailboat, explore ancient Roman ruins and discover secluded beaches. Opt to hike through the national park in Mljet that inspired Odysseus for years or kayak through gorgeous inlets and explore Korcula. Opt to take a tour of the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Dubrovnik, which offer insight into Croatian culture and architecture. Anchor in the quiet bay of Milna, Hvar, and opt to experience the vibrant night life on land. Explore the beaches as the tide comes in and shifts their shape. Enjoy free time to explore the Mediterranean port town of Dubrovnik. The city boasts plenty of churches, monasteries, fountains, and plazas to discover. Our 15m (50 ft) nimble yacht is the perfect platform to explore the gorgeous Adriatic islands. Flexibility is key to adapt to local weather conditions, and the skipper will modify the itinerary to our advantage while sailing. Possible stops include: Brac, Mljet, Korcula, and Hvar.

Day 14 - Adriatic Sea/Trogir

Weigh anchor early morning for the last passage to Trogir. Before crossing the Brac Channel, find a picturesque inlet to enjoy lunch before entering the marina in Trogir. Enjoy the last night aboard, or join the rest of the group for an optional group dinner in Split while reminiscing about the epic journey through the Adriatic Sea.

Day 15 - Trogir/Split

Disembark the ship in the morning after breakfast. Then, enjoy an included transfer from Trogir to the Hotel Corner in Split where the tour ends on arrival. If you would like extra time in Split after the sailing journey is finished, we recommend booking extra time.
