Start the journey of a lifetime with PADI's Open Water Diver Course - the single most popular diving course in the world! Conditions in Dahab are excellent for beginners - warm water, little or absolutely no current and amazing visibility. Small groups and beautiful scenery will be your everyday experience in this special place.
The contrast between touristic Sharm El Sheikh further South and Dahab, is nothing less than extreme. Here you will find old school backpacker hippies retreating with a combination of Yoga, rock climbing and world class diving, no hassle and no stress.
Historically, most visitors to Dahab have been backpackers traveling independently, staying in the hostels and Bedouin camps. This has made the little fishermen town develop into an international good feel place. With its bohemian feel of hippie and Bedouin, Dahab is a beautiful mix of peace seeking travelers, creating an extraordinary atmosphere of relaxation and friendliness.
We have based this dive package in Dahab on the weekly flights from Europe. Whether you only want the diving included in your PADI Open Water Course, or you chose to add extra days of diving during your booking request, we recommend that you have your accommodation booked for the week.
To enroll in the PADI Open Water Course, you must answer No to all questions on the medical statement. If you answer a question with a Yes, a doctor must sign the statement before you can dive. Find the medical statement via this link:
